Yesterday, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce held another highly informative session to explain key facets of the revised federal pandemic relief package. We urge all business owners to review this information, as programs such as PPP, EIDL and the Employee Retention Tax Credit provide much needed access to grants and loans. The SBA (Small Business Administration) is working out final guidelines, and as soon as that is completed (expected within days), portals will open to accept... applications. Be sure to touch base with your bankers/financial advisors (regarding PPP), your payroll services provider/accountant (regarding the Employee Retention Tax Credit) and the SBA website (regarding EIDL) and act quickly. Also: please share this information with other business owners who are not Chamber members - we want local businesses in Beaver County to survive and thrive! The Pittsburgh Job Corps Center reopens today, January 5, to allow small cohorts of students back to Center in a phased approach. Students who are close to completing the program will return first. Students will quarantine for 14 days and then resume their studies. The Center will continue this process as they slowly and safely return students. The Center will be a closed Job Corps campus to visitors.
