. . . from the Pastor’s Desk Psalm 56:3-4; 10-11 (NLT) 3. . . when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. "4 I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?... 10 I praise God for what he has promised; yes, I praise the LORD for what he has promised. "11 I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? In Matthew 11, Jesus said, Come unto Me. Too often we Christians view that as a call to duty . . . to pay some debt we owe. However, His invitation to Come unto Me, has a deeper meaning. It is a solution to every problem we are going through. It is the key to calming every fearphysically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. If you are sick, come to Him for health; If you are homeless, come to Him for a home; If you are friendless, He will be your friend; If you are hopeless, He will give you refuge. PRAYER: Keep us, O Father, this day from all things hurtful to our souls and bodies and grant us a pure heart and mind to follow the steps of our gracious Redeemer, in whose name we pray. Amen John Wesley Always in His Service, Pastor Ron Wednesday, March 25th

. . . from the Pastor’s Desk The God on the Mountain is still God in the Valley are wonderful lyrics in a song most of us have heard. When things are going according to (our) plan . . . we get all giddy and ecstatic. We find ourselves jumping from peak-to-peak. However, the true test or reality is how we live our life . . . how we trust . . . how strong our faith is when we come down from peak hopping and return to the PANDEMIC ridden valley floor. When Jesus... was in the wilderness being tempted for 40 daysHe must have felt at times as though everything was UPHILL IN EVERY DIRECTION. Sometimes, when you’re down in the valley, it feels like everything is uphill. There is a stark difference between the exhilaration of the mountain top experience, and the desperation of the living on the valley floor of everyday life in the infectious pits with their sicknesses, ailments, and viruses. Do you know the One the psalmist writes about in Psalm 46:1-20? He is the One who says: 1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2Therefore, we will not fear . . . He tells us, don’t be afraid. I will be your help when everything seems to be going wrong. I’ll be there when you must be isolated or quarantined . . . trying to do it all on your own. There is a better way . . . you see, I AM still in control. Always in His Service, Pastor Ron Tuesday, March 24th See more

. . . from the Pastor’s Desk While we have many blessings from our Lord, one of the promises we have been given is found in Psalm 23:4. As one of His children, He promises that He will never leave us, forsake us, or leave us alone. Jesusthe Good Shepherdis always with us. You never have to question His whereabouts, and you never have to wonder if He will be there when life gets challenging. He goes before us . . . beside us . . . and He was there all the time. Even when you... cannot see HimHe is still working on your behalf. Be of good cheeryour Lord loves you! Psalm 23:4 (NKJV) 4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
