With Easter being only one week away from today, our residents have been busy creating and decorating various crafts to help make their rooms look good for the holiday. Let's see how they did!

On Wednesday, we celebrated all of the resident's birthdays that were in the month of March with some delicious red velvet cake. Take a look!

March 23rd was National Puppy Day and our residents celebrated with puppy chow mix. Let's see if they enjoyed it!

UPDATE: Our Easter Egg Hunt has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 10th at 2:30PM due to inclement weather that is supposed to happen on Sunday. Please re-RSVP by Wednesday, April 7th. Sorry for the sudden change, but we hope to see you there!

Employee Christmas Giveaways!

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU! OUR ANGEL TREE IS EMPTY! We are overwhelmed with support from our community! Thank you to everyone who has sponsored a resident this holiday season. 286 names have been pulled from our tree! We are aware that many individuals are continuing to stop in to obtain a tag -- please be patient with us as our recent admission wish-lists are being obtained; 20+ additional tags will be added on Monday afternoon! Thank you, again! We cannot express what this generosity means to our facility and residents this Christmas.

Employees: Thank you for all you do! While we are unable to host our annual employee holiday event due to the circumstances, we want you to know how much you are appreciated. Please enjoy a bagged meal during your shift today - it can be picked up at Switchboard upon check-in. In addition, the bag includes a "free meal ticket" for a future dietary meal of your choosing over the next month. Happy Holidays!

Resident Christmas Spirit Week Day #2! This afternoon, our activities department hosted a mobile Christmas party! Residents savored delicious party foods from the comfort and safety of their rooms, while enjoying a Christmas movie! Our dietary department prepared a wonderful array of appetizer options including meatballs, egg rolls, fruit salad, rolls and butter, cheesecake, and punch! Happy Holidays from Cambria Care Center!

Hot, Hot, Hot, Hot Chocolate! A recent special cart: "Hot Cocoa Bar!" Our activities department went room-to-room with a themed cart and provided a delicious themed snack to our residents - hot chocolate with all of the toppings desired! Yum!

As we wrap up 2020 with the month of December, we're reminiscing on some of our best groups that took place from January-March. While these photos had not yet been posted in months prior, everyone can use a smile from the pure joy expressed on resident faces! Residents are eager to start back into group programs when events calm down; however, they understand the 1:1 activities are currently necessary for their safety and are making the best of the precautions. Resident Christmas Spirit Week Day #1! This afternoon, our activities department distributed 200 filled stockings to floors 1-4! Every resident received a stocking filled to the top with a variety of wonderful items. Some of the stuffers included: word search books, coloring books, notepads, crayons/colored pencils, pens/pencils, snacks (Little Debbie cakes, chips, cookies, hard candy, mints), personal hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion), a bible, tissues, socks, gloves/scarves, reading glasses, decorations, and so much more! The smiles and excitement on each resident’s face was priceless! [Thank you to all of the employees and family/community members who donated towards our resident stocking project!
