Emilia would be a senior at CC this year. Her dad posted this. Sunday of THON weekend - the home-stretch! If you don't know what #THON is, or why it's important to so many families who have a child with cancer, then check out this video from two years ago. Natalie does an incredible job of communicating exactly how the Four Diamonds works, and how the students from THON have been there for us and so many others. I know the words "warrior" and "fight" and "battle" get thrown... around when describing these children with cancer. The truth of the matter, Emilia never wanted to be identified like that. She just wanted to be a regular, goofy, fun-loving teenager who made plans of going to the prom, taking the driver's test, and visiting colleges with her friends. That's it.
