I realize residents are wondering about the status of Trick or Treat for Halloween. As of today, due to Covid-19, we are uncertain as to how to move forward for trick or treat due to social distancing, etc. The state website thus far has not offered guidance regarding trick or treat. Once we get those recommendations then an update will be provided. -Chief Kramer

Below is a letter from Energy Transfer regarding the re-routing of the 24" pipeline. -Chief Kramer ENERGY TRANSFER... 6051 Wallace Road Extension, Suite 300 Wexford, PA 15090 sept. 22, 2020 Dear Neighbors. I wanted to advise that in the coming days, Energy Transfer will begin pipeline construction on our right-of-way in our re-route area located near the end of Ivy Lane. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has approved this work, and the routing is consistent with the plans we shared with our neighbors at our June 2019 community meeting. It is important to note that our 24-inch pipeline that traverses the area is not active. During this time, you may notice truck traffic entering and exiting the right-of-way from Brodhead Road in the area across from the bowling alley during normal daylight working hours. Neighbors may also notice limited support traffic on Ivy Lane, and Energy Transfer has alerted Central Valley School District and the local police and fire departments of this activity to minimize any disruption and inconvenience. Work is slated to commence as early as Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, and we will continue to provide updates as the work progresses. To ensure proper communication during the upcoming construction period, we have set up a community hotline that will be staffed 24/7 in the event that you have any questions or concerns: 855-430-4491 Sincerely, Chris Koop Lead Specialist- Public Affairs 6051 Wallace Rd.
