The officers and members of the Elizabeth VFC have sad news... No surprise that we have to cancel Riverfest for this year. We obviously waited to the last ...minute in hopes of having this even we all look forward to and desperately needed. We even discussed just having bands on the barge for that weekend but it just can’t happen with guidelines in place. The sold out gun bash will be cancelled as well and refunds issued. Please stay safe and know that we remain - 139 Strong! See more

Friday June, 5th Allegheny County moves to the Green Phase. Club 139 will be opening with CDC and DOH guidelines in place. We missed everyone and we got kinda bored. So we made some changes while we were closed. We hope you’ll like the new look. See you Friday...

Your firefighters throughout the valley are looking for solutions and hoping for the best. We have been making low-cost/high yield renovations to our Club 139 and Social Hall to include deep cleaning, stripping and waxing floors, painting, smoke eaters, lighting and wiring, new sound system for Bingo, new tv monitors for Bingo, cleaning/new filters on 5 HVAC systems, cleaning kitchen and tuning up refrigeration equipment. newcomputer/cloud data systems, and cleaning and sanitizing ice machines, and more. We are cautiously optimistic that Riverfest will happen and hope to hit the ground running to make up the monetary gap while having fun and serving you while doing so. Please stay safe and know we are here for you! Sincerely- The officers and members of Elizabeth Borough VFC.

The officers met tonight. Gun bash details are still being worked out with our Sisters and Brothers from Clairton. Since we only have 40 tickets left and the ...event is quite popular and a MAJOR fundraiser, we’re trying to POSTPONE the bash, and the gun to be raffled off on the evening daily lottery from 3/28 to a date in mid may. Should know tomorrow. Bingo and club still closed per mandate two weeks. We are deep cleaning and sanitizing the facilities and doing some minor upgrades. We will resume normal operations when cleared. The following events are CANCELLED and WILL NOT occur: Friday Fish Fries during Lent. Officers Installation Banquet 3/21. Purse Bash 5/2 As always, we care about the communities we serve and the visitors passing through it. Please adhere to CDC and State/County mandates and recommendations until the all-clear has sounded. Thank you so much for supporting us. This too, shall pass and we will remain, 139 Strong!
