Felicidades to our students in Congreso's Creando Tu Futuro Program for winning three awards in the 2021 Future City Philadelphia Region Competition! This challenge was a city-wide competition where students had to design their own city on the moon. "I am so proud of the Creando tu Futuro youth of Congreso. It was such an honor to work with them and their parents. Teen Dating Violence (aka Adolescent Relationship Abuse) is a serious risk for young people of all genders, sexualities, races, and income levels. The Congreso Familia would like to give a very warm welcome to our new Board Chair Andreina Hein! Andreina has been part of the Board of Congreso since November 2015 and was recently elected as Board Chair. She is a first-generation immigrant born in Caracas, Venezuela. She brings close to 20 years of varied professional experience to her role ranging from managing construction projects on active commercial construction sites to managing research project teams studying Latino children and families in the early childhood education field.
