Congratulations to Viviann Schorle, the new Program Officer at Phoenixville Community Health Foundation! We look forward to working with you.
Congratulations to Andrea Youndt, new CEO of Chester County Food Bank! We look forward to working with you.
This month Kimberton Whole Foods will continue to address food insecurity in our communities through the Rounding Up at the Register program. All month long at the Kimberton store, you can "round up" to benefit Phoenixville Area Community Services. Thank you @kimbertonwholefoods and all those who will be participating
The Phoenixville Food Insecurity Team (PFIT) is made up of pantries and meal providers in Phoenixville. We partner together and create a calendar of where and when pantries and meals are available in Phoenixville. If you or someone you know needs a meal or food pantry, this calendar will help. Please share December's calendar.
A very special thank you to GSK Collegeville for believing in PACS' mission and supporting our building campaign. They've selected PACS as a charitable grant recipient and their donation will be matched by PCHF. We're so grateful for your support GSK!
@annsheartpxvAnn's Heart of Phoenixville is excited to share that they are hosting a Christmas Eve dinner distribution at the #heartkitchen at The Home of Education, Arts, Resources, and Technology - HEART on Christmas Eve morning (12/24) from 10AM to 12PM for anyone in need of a holiday meal. Dinners will be either fully cooked meals for families (ready for heating up at home), or hot individual meals to go. Phoenixville Area Community Services is happy to partner with Ann's Heart and @unclebsbarbq to make this happen! Help us spread the word and a little holiday warmth this Christmas Eve! Reserve by calling the Ann's Heart office at (484) 393-2407 or visit their online form: https://www.annsheart.org/christmas-dinner #phoenixvillepa #annsheartpxv #phoenixville #pxv #heartPXV #pacsphx #unclebsbbq #christmas2020
Thank you to Rep. Melissa Shusterman, her chief of staff Tyler Sciaudone and PASD Board President Blake Emmanuel for recently volunteering at PACS. Mary Petro Fuller, Executive Director of PACS is shown with Rep. Shusterman in front of the refrigerated case PACS received earlier this year. The case helps to keep food fresh for distribution.
First come, first serve! This is John Bruno, owner of Ristorante Toscano in Lansdale, and his wife Amy. They have donated 100 baked ziti dishes for distribution in our community. There are both meat and vegetarian options. Stop by PACS anytime between 9am and 4pm until all 100 have been claimed. Special thanks to the anonymous donor who made this possible.
If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that what is most important in life is family, friends and meaningful work. If you want to give a more meaningful gift this season, consider naming a loved one to our Wall of Champions. Your recipient will receive recognition from PACS and a gift from a local small business. And, PCHF will match your donation. Honor someone or donate here.
