With the rise in Covid-19 cases, there have been reports of various different scams associated with the pandemic. The scams consist of unsolicited text message...s and emails being sent out asking the recipient to click on an attached link. Clicking on the link allows the scammers to either install a malicious code on your phone or leads you to a fake website used to collect personal and financial information. Legitimate contact tracers will never ask for money or information such as your Social Security number.
