Dear Friends, By the end of this month, we will have an abundance of winter coats from Burlington and other sources. In meantime, we are in need of winter coa...ts, hoodies, jeans and boots. Basically, warm durable clothes for our brothers and sisters in need. These items are best dropped off during the hours of operation (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 am until 2 pm) at the Saint Francis Free Clothing Store located at 504 Penn Avenue, Scranton. Other drop off arrangements may be made by calling 570-342-5556. Thank you, Rob Williams, Executive Director. See more

Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy burdened, And I shall give you rest. (MT 11:28-30) Lord, on this Labor Day, we thank you for the blessing of work. We ask for strength to complete each day. We ask for rest when we are weary. We ask for Your guidance and hope for everyone seeking employment. We ask that You be with those whose faces we might never see but who work tirelessly each day for the good of all of us. Amen.
