We have developed strong bonds and become good friends through various activities and events. This year, although the freshmen and first-year transfer students may not get to have unique experiences that I and a lot of other VSA members did, due to the pandemic, I believe VSA’s virtue events will be a good chance for everyone to have quality times and connect with each other. Let’s start by talking about what you have gained through this year. 2020 is a year of reflection and reawakening of yourself. Spending time alone, staying at home, and doing nothing during lockdown has taught you how unexpected life could turn out to be. They taught you that you are enough. Being surrounded by others does not play a major part in your ability to find confidence and happiness in your life. They taught you that it is fine if you are moving slower than your friends or your co-workers. Everyone works based on their timezone. They also taught us to be kind and grateful for what we have.
