They say every bad situation has a bright side or silver lining and while this may not always seem to be true because it is extremely hard to see the light when you feel surrounded by darkness but I promise you God is at work in your life and because of that there is guaranteed to be at least a little good in everything!

I think we can all agree, this is what every couple should be striving for during their relationships. Having mental health issues is no joke, for real. I myself have a handful of diagnoses from that field and being someone with said issues and trying to create or maintain a healthy relationship can/will have it's challenges but the important thing for both parties involved to remember the illness can sometimes over rule who you really are and so in those times you need to re...member the importance of understanding and compassion not only for the suffering party but for their loved ones who are closest to them as well. Even more important is to focus on forgiveness. Forgiveness for yourself if you are the ill party and forgiveness for the loved ones as well who may not always understand what we are going through and may react in undesirable ways to the illness flare ups. But fret not, there are many options available these days to help the ill person involved including medication, therapy, and most importantly the LOVE and support of family members and those closest to the party who is struggling because for those of us who suffer, sometimes the darkness is so overwhelming, that we forget to look for the light... NEVER FORGET... You can choose to wallow in the darkness and embrace the pain and suffering... Or you can choose to force yourself to look for the light which is always shining somewhere around you. Sometimes the most important thing you can do when you love someone is to keep ensuring them that your love is unconditional and keep proving that to them until they believe it themselves.
