Starting in January we have a great class to get you on the right track for Health and Wellness! Make the Change: 12 week weight loss program Thursdays, Jan 7- Mar 25 FMS Multi-purpose room 6:30-7:15... $200 Make the Change is a 12 week weight loss program designed to help the participant to lose weight by developing healthy lifestyle habits utilizing sound nutrition and fitness principles for long term change. The program will consist of 6 total educational lectures covering in depth nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle practices for effective weight loss, 3 sessions of instructor led group exercise programing as well as access to the Dietitian throughout the program to provide tips on eating and improving diet and exercise to each participant via email or texting. In addition, all participants will be encouraged to keep a food journal that can be reviewed with the instructor as needed. Initial and final body weight, body fat percentage, and waist measurement will be obtained at start and end of program as means of tracking weight loss results. Participants will be encouraged to exercise on their own or as a group throughout the program utilizing different fitness programs available locally. Educational handouts will be provided. An outline describing each class and event will be given to participants at first session. Fairview Parks and Recreation Authority is in the plans to install a Disc Golf Course at Pleasant Ridge Park, 8271 Barker Rd. Fairview, PA 16415. In the Spring of 2021 FPRA will install an 18-hole disc golf course that would be open to the public and will host future disc golf tournaments, clinics, and seasonal leagues. We are looking for potential sponsorships to offset the cost of installing this course and future maintenance. Your generous sponsorship will provide the mean...s for an additional recreational and economic entity to our wonderful community. We would not be able to make these wonderful park and recreational improvements without your help! As a sponsor to the Pleasant Ridge Park Disc Golf Course your company logo will be placed either on the beginning rules sign, and/or the individual hole signs. Each sponsorship is a 3-year contract. Hundreds, if not, thousands of individuals will pass these signs throughout the life of the course. Here are the sponsorship levels in which you may choose from: Hole in one Sponsorship - $3500 Full Disc Golf course sponsor. Company logo will be present on all signage throughout the course (rules sign and each hole sign), present on FPRA website course description, and all print material (course brochure and scorecard). Sponsor will also be a part of the grand opening, ribbon cutting in the Spring of 2021. Birdie Sponsorship- $1000 Company logo will be displayed on large rules sign at the beginning of course, print material (course brochure and scorecard), and website page. Hole Sponsor - $500 Company logo will be displayed on individual hole sign.
