Ok this one is for all my 4th trimester mammas out there! The quarantine baby boom seems to be a real thing, at least in my office, so we have had many new cuties born in December and January plus many more to come! Typically ladies will come get adjusted throughout pregnancy for low back pain but following delivery, things change (to put it mildly ). Where they once held the babies within their bodies, now they are holding them in their arms, (a lot) and looking down... into their sweet baby's face (a lot) not to mention the innumerable other repetitive activities such as feeding, rocking, and lifting them from here to there. This puts enormous strain on the neck and shoulders and is the number one complaint of the mothers I see in the office after delivery. It is extremely important to get adjusted and stay well aligned at this time because you want to be able to enjoy the new bundle of joy, not be in pain! So, if you find yourself in this category and have been putting off taking care of yourself, please take a minute to give the office a call! I'll get you back to your pain-free snuggles as soon as possible!
