This 'Cup" was located at Broadway and Benner Avenue in Fountain Hill on the property of Friedman's Texaco. Frank was a pallbearer for my great aunt Elizabeth who died of tonsillitis in 1934. She was an 18 year old senior at Liberty High School.

We are saddened to hear of the Broadway Speed Shop being sold. We have always had a mutual respect for one another as John and his father were always great business neighbors. We would honor and support each other professionally with expertise on jobs whether it be mechanical, body work, or towing. Always professional, always available. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and hope to see them more than just 'once in a while.'

Good morning everyone! As this crazy year draws to a close, we felt this was the time to share with all of you that Broadway Speed Shop has been sold and moving... forward will be under new ownership. This may come as a shock, but it is true! This decision was made to give our family some much needed and deserved rest and relaxation! We would like to deeply thank each and everyone one of you that have supported our family business for all these years. Since being owned by our pop pop in the 60s and our Dad in the 80s, this business has been nothing but successful so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! One thing we are truly going to miss are the conversations with old friends about our pop pop. We had many customers come in that would share stories about him and what a great man he was. We will forever cherish these stories and remember all of you that shared them! We thank you for helping us to keep his memory alive and business thriving. As we move on from this huge part of our lives, we will always hold each and every memory very close to our hearts. We truly cannot express to you how thankful we are for the years of continued support. We made it this far because of you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
