Looking for a little help at Rotary Park this coming Saturday, April 24 from 9 am until noon. Need to spread some mulch that we did not get completed at our wo...rk day last weekend. If you can help, let me know. Bring shovels, wheelbarrows, pitchforks, garden rakes and push brooms. If anyone has access to a Bobcat or small front-end loader, that would be helpful. Rotary Park has an opportunity for 33 more advertising sponsors as follows: 2 spots available on Hotchkiss Field (soccer field), 29 spots available on Merchandiser Field (largest baseball field) and 2 spots available on Don "Pop" Staley Field (smaller baseball field. Welcome to Rotary Park day 2021! This is our first 150+ Volunteer work day event. It’s takes amazing vision/planning to make something a success. David Christi...an your precision planning along with positive partnerships for recruitment have made this such an amazing event to be a part of. We are surrounded by volunteers who are handling each task. Today we are surrounded by Rotarians, Lions Club, Boy/Girl Scout, DHS (Footballl/Basketball players/coaches) Members1st, Giant, children, grandchildren,spouses, and community members. Thank you all for your service today. This project has been a labor of love for the Rotary club and Mount Joy Borough. Our Saturday walking venue has changed for this Saturday (tomorrow). As always, all are welcome to come. We will be leaving from the Susquehanna River Trail D...ecatur Street parking lot in Marietta promptly at 8:05 am and will head south on the trail to the southern tip of Marietta and return via Marietta's Front Street to our place of beginning.
