Reflection Lake | Oil on Canvas | 8 X 6 In. https://andrewgaia.com/fine-art/ Approach: Alla Prima | Impressionism Canvas Prints and Original Available... This glowing mountain scene was a fantastic oil painting to create. Every stroke and blend of color had such an excitement, I felt like I was one with the fire of creativity. The landscape slowly came to life with every stroke. Not knowing whether I would be able to capture what was happening before me, but I had to try. And the end result, is a piece of art the inspires me to get out and see the world in it's brilliant display of color. A reminder and gift perfect for the soul.

Ocean Dusk | The Floating Mangrove | 8 x 6 | Oil on Canvas | Alla Prima Contemporary Art https://www.andrewgaia.com/fine-art/ Original & Prints Available A floating mangrove ripples across the ocean at dusk in this glowing sunset landscape art. I have said it many times before, but I just love clouds and skies. Something about their ever changing form and color, yet always harmonious nature, appeals to me more than anything. Perhaps it is because it is a connection between all life, one that we all are blessed to look to. Let this oil painting print serve as a love filled reminder to look to the ever giving sky for peace and harmony whenever you want, wherever you are.

The Softest Flowers | 8x6 | Oil on Canvas | Impressionism Message me for more info on original or print sizes A beautiful depiction of the softest field of flowers I have ever had the luck to walk through. Painting this piece felt much like creating the field as nature would have. I was dancing around the canvas with blues, greens, pinks, jumping from here to there, building, covering, exploring. And when I finally came out of my play with oil and value, the floral piece har...monized so well together that I could not be happier with the painting I get to share with you all. https://andrewgaia.com//the-softest-field-of-flowers-orig/ https://andrewgaia.com/fine-art/

Dappling Mountain Forest Stream Oil Paint | Impressionism | 8 x 6 | Canvas Message me for more info or visit my site.... https://andrewgaia.com//dappling-mountain-forest-stream-o/ I just love the way oil paint can capture the myriad of colors that emerge from nature. Being able to layer my paints across the canvas landscape, I feel like I am a part of light, reflecting color back into the world. In this forest landscape scene, I was so lucky to capture this dappling light onto a mountain stream. Between the red rotting leaves, growing mosses, blue / brown waters and evergreen leaves, I got to travel the entire rainbow of the forest. And now, share it with you all.

Sunset River Landscape | Original Oil Painting Medium: Oil Paint | Surface: Canvas Panel | Size: 8 X 6 Inches Original ($350): https://andrewgaia.com//sunset-river-landscape-oil-painti/... Canvas Prints (Variety of Sizes): https://andrewgaia.com//sunset-river-landscape-original-o/ Youtube Process Video: https://youtu.be/i_y33vKXqtE This Sunset River Landscape Original Oil Painting is capturing another one of those simple moments in life that grasp the heart and make us feel alive. The way nature paints the sky and reflects all those colors into the world around us is truly breathtaking. The blues, purples, oranges flutter across leaves, stones, and every little ripple in the rivers flow. And somehow natures glorious rainbow blends so harmoniously that one can miss it, in an instant. This piece of art it in no special location, no hidden place, just a small walkway alongside a small town bridge. But, in taking the time to slow down and breath the fresh air while looking into the freely given blessing of the natural world, we are given everything we need in one moment. A Pink and Purple Lotus grows out from a vibrant blue lily pad pond in this oil painting. Original ($280): https://andrewgaia.com//pink-purple-lotus-lily-pads-pond-/ Canvas Prints (50-160): https://andrewgaia.com//pink-purple-lotus-lily-pads-pond-/... It's almost a contradiction of the visual senses, this oil painting. Centered around cools, but at the same time balanced with warms. This Piece came together so nicely that it reminds me that opposites don't attract, they are actually a part of one another. This lotus floating among its lilies has quickly become a piece I turn to re-center and connect to my inner self. I hope that this piece speaks to you in a way that helps guide you to untap your own hidden depth and find more of yourself, within yourself. Ice Fields | Warm & Cool | Landscape Oil Painting Medium: Oil Paint | Surface: Canvas Panel | Size: 8 X 6 Inches Original ($350): https://andrewgaia.com//ice-fields-farm-barn-original-oil/... Canvas Prints (Variety of Sizes): https://andrewgaia.com//ice-fields-warm-cool-oil-painting/ Youtube Process Video: Coming Soon The Ice Fields Impressionism Oil Painting was moment in time captured from a trip up to a remote area in Northern Pennsylvania. The location was beautiful with only a few scattered houses for miles, with large barns, farms and cabins scattered throughout. It was blisteringly cold, at times. But at other times, the sun was radiating so brilliantly that nature would be tricked into beginning its growth. A strange combination of winter and spring like feelings that makes me feel both warm and cold every time I look at it. In the scene we can see a small farmers pond that would repeatedly freeze and melt at different spots, depending on the clouds and shadows of the moment. We see warm grasses beginning to poke through in some of the luckier locations as well as open and desolate fields waiting from total spring to being them back to life. And in the distance we see a huge barn the housed hundreds of cows. One can also see their milk processing plant poking out from behind the scattered tree line. It is a moment that I won't ever forget as it perfectly captures my life at that time. A new life and warmth was beginning to poke its head out from the frequent frost and resistant chills. However, time was not quite ready, and the opportunity for the new cycle had to press on, enduring the repeated freezes. Simple, yet powerful.... the will of change and growth. Nature and man, are one in the same. For more original and prints visit https://andrewgaia.com/fine-art/
