Cast Moment: Robert Campbell is Kyle the Woodcutter and The Goat in The Adventures of Little Red Riding Hood: "One thing that's unique about this production of Little Red Riding Hood is the fact that we are presenting the show not only as a three-person family cast, but also as a show that springs forth in our living room. In essence, the production is a Popcorn Hat Players Children's Theatre piece, but there's added layers to it. It's meant to feel like we just appear onstag...e in our living room and the show is something we spontaneously remember, reimagine, and recreate in the moment. As a former Gamut Core Co. Actor/Popcorn Hat Player, it's also neat to return to work like this after so many years away from it. After just a few rehearsals I "re-remembered" all my old narration lines, not just the words, but also the inflections and gestures I used to get into. It's interesting to be reminded as an actor just how strong that physical sense memory can be. Lastly, it's delightful to get to work with my partner and spouse, as we were working together on shows like this when we first started dating. And to add our daughter into the mix is truly the icing on the cake. It's certainly an honor to get to do all of this as a family, and to do it with our extended "Gamut family" too brings the sense of both home and homecoming full circle." Buy tickets: bit.ly/35TOQXh

Cast Moment: Ross Carmichael plays Mr. X in The Outcast: "Some of the most challenging and enjoyable parts of playing this character are the transitions from one tactic to another. The conversation occasionally seems to take a left turn, and working through where that turn is headed, as well as why it happened, has been fun actor work. It really involves everyone in the room to create effective, interesting, and maybe even surprising shifts in the dynamic of these two characters."
