We celebrated Keith Roettenbacher's retirement today! Thank you, Keith, for your years of faithful service to Golis Machine Inc.! We have benefited from your knowledge and years of experience. May your retirement give you new opportunities to enjoy!

In February of 1994 Will and I hired Dan Beadle to become our first Milling Machinist in fact, we bought our first CNC Kitamura mill just for Dan! He was our second employee hired outside of our family. For almost 27 years Dan faithfully served as a Miller, then Milling supervisor, then Quality Control Manager at Golis Machine Inc. With tears and heavy hearts, we announce that we lost Dan this past week. For a few years Dan has been dealing with health issues, and he passed... away early Friday morning after an organ transplant the prior day. Dan may not have been related to us, but when you spend years working side by side through good times and tough times, and watch each other’s families grow and change, you become family. Losing Dan leaves a hole in our Golis Machine Inc. family. Our prayers are with Dan’s siblings, his son Sean, and his wife Lisa. See more

"After a long and winding road the finish line is finally in view for our What’s So Cool About Manufacturing awards event. I want to personally thank you all for your efforts throughout the insane last year and I really appreciate your help in finishing up the school’s videos so that we could have a program this year. With that said we finally are getting to our awards, starting with the online voting round. The online voting will begin next week, Monday January 11th, and will run until January 14th.
