Laurie's Gown Alterations

Laurie's Prom & Formal, as is, unfortunately did not survive the Covid shutdown. Today is the last day we exist. Girl Heaven is done. That being said, I will continue to do some gown alterations here in my sewing room, by appointment, and in somewhat of a limited capacity. Those few purchased prom 2020 gowns that were left here last spring, are safe and sound, waiting for their owners to need them. I am not going anywhere... as you know, my shop is my home. I am slowly reach...ing out to these customers individually. When one door shuts, another door opens, they say. I am pleased to announce that I have joined the ladies over at Cable Creations Bridal Shop in Beaver Falls, and have been sewing Wedding alterations for them! We have lots of surprises in store as soon as the world begins to get back to normal and proms return! I will be keeping this page going to update things as they unfold. Girls of 2020. There weren't too many proms. I added in the Brides whose gowns I altered, and who were lucky enough to have their weddings. What a year.

Sadly, our Greeter and my Personal Assistant, Loquita kitty, passed away last week. She has been waiting at the door to say hello to all the girls since prom of 2009. I recall some moms even saying, "oh dear, she'd rather pet the kitty than look at dresses!" She will be missed.
