MEET THE STAFF! Hi I am Kim! I started Climbing here in April 2017 right after The Gravity Vault Radnor first opened. The therapist I was seeing at the time was in the same building and when I saw the sign go up, I thought I'd give it a try. I’ve been climbing ever since! I started working here as an instructor that same year in July. One of my favorite parts of this job is watching people fall in love with the sport I fell in love with. My favorite style of climbing is anything stemmy! I got to climb at Otter Cliff at Acadia National Park and it was amazing! My dad made some photoshopped collages of me climbing up the side of the cliff that are super cool.

MEET THE STAFF! Hi I’m Angela, have worked at the Gravity Vault for 2 and a half years and I am a shift lead! I love being surrounded by my hobby and I have learned so much by working here and I enjoy getting to share it. I started climbing when I was young but didn't really get into it until 2017 when I joined Villinovas rock climbing club here at the Gravity Vault. I did a wide variety of sports as the kid and this has always been my favorite. Ralph stover is one of my favorite places to go outdoor climbing around here. It's not too far of a drive and it's got some fun, tall walls. It’s also a good place to hike in general! Angela Snakard

Why We Climb! . I really enjoy the focus I have when I’m on the wall. It’s unlike anything else that I do. I love to come to the gym and just relax while getting a good workout. Over all though, I love that it is a challenge that you can work on by yourself or with friends @matteo.camp

MEET THE STAFF This is Jack! I started climbing in May of 2017 right after this gym opened up for business. I went bouldering with some friends for their birthdays and then we kept coming back! Since that initial event, climbing has become my favorite way to work out both my mind and my body. I hated failing at climbs my friends could do, maybe I'm too petty but it made me try harder. I've worked at the Gravity Vault since the summer of 2019. I am a part time employee com...ing in after school, or as Darrien’s Rock, whatever that means.. The best part about working here is easily the community of employees and regulars. So many nice and fun people all over, and with college online, I probably would’ve gone insane from the lack of social interaction without them. I’ve only climbed outdoors at two places, as a resident boulderer, I’d have to pick Haycock as my favorite. Since Gravity Vault Radnor reopened on June 22nd, it has meant the world to us to see everyone back in the gym climbing. From our daily members, kid’s class participants, college bouldering crews and to those willing to try it for the first time, our staff loves working with you every day. We are lucky enough to teach this sport and be a part of a community that is hungry to get after it. The gym has friends, family and members that work in area hospitals, doctor...’s offices and emergency care services and we wish to send out our best wishes to their overall safety and support. What they have done this year for our community has been immense and in no way could we be where we are today without their hard work and dedication to their profession. We are with you during this time, thank you heroes. Being a part of the Radnor, Pennsylvania, community has as well been a privilege. Currently, we feel, we have no choice but to comply with our state’s order to close with the other gyms and entertainment venues (Link to the order below). Over this 3-week closure period, the staff and gym will recharge our batteries to come back ready on January 4th, 2021. Over this period of December 12th to January 3rd, the gym will be closed to all customers.
