What wind? It was a great day for Gus the 182 to stretch his wings.

We saw this awesome photo of a Paul Bennet Airshow combining motocross and aviation! For those that don’t know, GBRA is located next to the Breezewood Proving Grounds which is an amazing motocross park. While we don’t do tricks like this, we do love our neighboring motocross park!

It’s a sad day at GBRA as our beloved Citabria is flying away to a new home, but we believe it will be going into good hands. Congratulations Steve! Of course Rich is already sizing up the newly opened space in our hangar.

It was a beautiful day to have our first tow with Gus the 182. We are sorry that we missed the radio calls on 122.9 when somebody wanted to visit. Please know that you’re always welcome to stop by.

It’s not a hangar. It’s an airplane spa! I wish I could remember the last time he cleaned something at our house! Haha

We had our first fly-by in a 737! Rich flew over GBRA today and this was the best photo that I could get. I do feel that 38,000 feet is a little bit high for an effective fly-by.

Welcome home to our new GBRA family member Gus the Green 182! He is settling into the hangar and already made fast friends with our Citabria. Thank you to Don Armitage for your help, patience and the great name, Gus!
