We have staple pullers on every range - please use them - please remove your staples after shooting - we do have cameras and we can see down range ! Thanks for your cooperation

Soon time to think about getting off facebook- just got kicked off Hunting in Pennsylvania for 3 days for trying to explain to a younger generation person that the new law that just passed the house was not a good law for law abiding citizens- he seemed to think we should have to jump through a bunch of hoops to give a firearm to our sons or daughters- he didn’t understand the difference between laws passed by the government and our constitutional Rights are not alike ! He di...dn’t understand the feeling you had to be handed rifle to go to war but now they are asking you to be filed in a database in Washington even though you are a law abiding citizen and won’t be ruled ! I was kicked off for calling him a boy and telling him to go soak his head ! Really that’s bad ???? Some of the names and insults I get for disagreeing- There will come a time very soon I get off facebook voluntarily and I will not be able to communicate with this site - facebook does not support our second amendment rights or OUR LIFESTYLE! Message from Rich Barnhart - membership renewals were past due after being post marked beyond 12/31/20 ! I was buried with renewals the last ten days of the year - I also received many that were not filled out completely which required a call from me and in some cases mailed back to the sender - also I had a good number of life members that did not send in anything including the renewal form - I’m getting caught up and will mail out all renewals when all are finished - please do not go to the club with a card that is expired- orange card - new cards are blue you will be ask to leave if you are on the property- thanks for your understanding Rich

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 11.01.2021

Good morning all members- all new membership cards will be mailed today - thanks for your patience- I was buried the last couple weeks of December- and the mail has been a real problem this Year receiving dues sent in November in mid December- with all that being said now I have to work on other issues like lost cards by members and incomplete renewal forms or just members that sent only checks and no forms - again it’s been an interesting year ! To all new prospective members I have a number of people that have left a message on my phone to join I will be calling all of you back in the order I received them to set up a time to meet at the club to get paperwork completed - thanks again

It's very sad that we have lost another first responder to the Covid-19 virus; people put their lives on the line to save us. We have to appreciate them. Repost From Heidelberg Township Facebook Page. Shared From Porters Fire Co. York County has lost one of its finest EMS providers to COVID-19. Doug Dzubinski had been a part of EMS in York County for more than 30 years, mainly at the former White Rose Ambulance (now LifeTeam EMS) and the former Springettsbury Township EMS. Doug also was a volunteer for many years at the Laurel Fire Company of Windsor. Our thoughts are with Doug's family, friends and co-workers. May he rest in peace.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 29.09.2019

Okay, got some good news, the ranges open tomorrow morning at 9:00am for recreational shooting (no matches at this time). Very few new rules, but I'll list them below. 1. No guests, we want to hold down the number of shooters, so that it isn't crowded, so for now, members only. 2. Maintain your Social Distancing, 6 foot apart, and wear your face mask, if there are other (non-family) people on the range with you. If you're alone on the range there is no danger, so no protecti...ve mask is required, but have it on your person, so that if someone else comes to the range you're shooting on, you can put it on. 3. If you are sick, don't come to the range, we don't want to spread the virus. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding during these trying times. President Joe Hastings

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 25.09.2019

Looks like we're still in the Red Zone, no idea for how long.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 18.09.2019

I talked to Joe this morning, he says the ranges will be opening soon, he says we're still in the Red Zone, because of our close proximity to York, I suppose, but it shouldn't be too much longer.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 10.09.2019

The meetings scheduled for Thursday are cancelled. Better luck next month.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 28.08.2019

Rich Barnhart checked with the state agency handling the CV shutdown today and they advised that the range is still under the shutdown order. The Governor announced today that they are going to start a phased opening of the state on May 8th, but no idea at this time if it will effect us. So for now, the ranges remain closed.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 15.08.2019

I just talked to Joe Hastings about our upcoming Match shoots; he advised all upcoming shoots are cancelled, until further notice. The immediate ones coming up are 3/29 Military Rifle Shoot, 4/3 Block Shoot, 4/11 Hunters Education Course will probably be cancelled and the Varmint Shoot and Center Fire Pistol Shoot on 4/19. The Ranges will remain closed until further notice.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 13.08.2019

Remember to check on our elderly members and friends during times like these.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 05.08.2019

We've had some people asking about the ranges being open, Yes we are, as long as you maintain your social separation there is no reason not to come out to a range. Have some fun shooting.

Green Springs Rod & Gun Club 21.07.2019

Another Red Flag victim in MD. Lemp’s family lawyer, Renee Sandler, met with the press before the Police held their press conference on Friday and she expressed grave concern about what Lemp’s family claims was basically murder. Sandler said that there is absolutely no justification for what happened. She went on to say, The facts as I understand them from eyewitnesses are incredibly concerning, she told The Associated Press. She went on: Any attempt by the police to shift responsibility onto Duncan or his family who were sleeping when the police fired shots into their home is not supported by the facts,
