OUR FOOD AND LITTER DRIVE STARTS TODAY! Spring has sprung and so has kitten season which means we need lots of food as well as litter (and pee pads)!! Since we no longer have our Pet Valu stores where we had food and litter donated to us and held event drives we will now have food and litter drives from time to time with our registries and wishlists.... We have our four registries and wishlists updated with our preferred brands of food. When you shop from our registries and wishlists all items will be shipped to us for your convenience. Our Target, Walmart, Amazon and Chewy registries and wishlists are ongoing. Even though we are having a food and litter drive April 10th-24th you can order from our lists even after those dates. MEET JACKSON! Jackson (21-079) is the sweetest kitty. At 1 -2 years old he will come running to you and flop over and want belly rubs. He is a purr machine who does well with kids and doesn’t mind being picked up. Jackson is not sure about dogs, but he needs to be an only cat. You can see Jackson at Cape Horn Pets! MEET NANOOK! Nanook (21-087) is a 12 year old cuddle monster. He is a big boy that has to be near you and be loved on. He’s a little shy at first, but once you show him some love he’ll be all over you. He wants to be close to you and wants to be petted. Nanook is looking for a quiet home where he can be the center of attention. He does well with other cats, but probably not rambunctious children or dogs.... PENDING MEET RUBY! Ruby (21-036) is a sweet petite ~1yr old Siamese girl. She is curious and playful, but a little shy around humans. ... She likes to be around people and will rub on things near them, but still is having trouble approaching them. She loves to be petted and even likes to be held, but she doesn't come to you for attention. She sleeps at the foot of the bed with her foster family. Ruby's favorite toy is a catnip caterpillar. She dances with it and chases it around the room. She also likes laser pointers and other toys that she can play with on the floor. She's still a little bit afraid of "flying" toys. Ruby will need a family who understands her quirks and is willing to work through them with her. She will be an absolute love bug someday, but needs some patience to get there. She does well with other cats, but probably not rambunctious children or dogs.
