We are working ahead a little bit here at the Mill and getting ready for St. Patrick's day a bit early. We are hoping that after we hang our Rainbows, we will find a few pots of gold under our holiday trees. Do you think we will have good luck? Our accidental smiley face seems to say "yes".

Now that 2020 is a thing of the past, we are looking ahead to a bright new year, and here at Heritage, we are starting it off with a little love. The residents did a wonderful job putting these fun door hangings together for Valentine's Day!

Yesterday was this cool lady's birthday, so she got to celebrate today with balloons, gifts, cupcakes, and a "gihooferous" (aka really big) birthday card that her family made for her! Happy Birthday, Anna!!!

Geretta Shutt from the 717 Car Club brought in a generous gift of goodie bags for all the residents that the club put together for them. Big thanks to Geretta and to the club members for their generosity, and we wish them all the best for the holiday season!

Between last evening and this afternoon, the residents on both units got to help decorate their own Christmas trees. They had a blast putting all the lights and ornaments on, and they did a wonderful job, and had some goofy fun!

We've had two birthdays here at Heritage recently and we would be remiss if we didn't give them both a nod today. We wish both Ada and Bill very happy Birthdays! Give them some love in the comments below!

The Mayor of Tower City and Administrator of Premier At Susquehanna in Millersburg, Dan Daub, was kind enough to donate 45 bouquets of flowers to our residents and staff, and they were absolutely gorgeous. We say a BIG thank you to Dan for his generosity, and for brightening up the residents' day! Happy Thanksgiving, Dan!

During an evening activity this week, we came across this hilarious video of Mary Maxwell and this Prayer. She delivered it so beautifully that we felt we needed to share it. She is speaking at a dinner given by Home Instead, an agency that provides in home care for the elderly, so if it seems a bit like a commercial at moments, that's why.
