HGA Pack 161

Would you like to learn more about Cub Scouts and meet some of our families? Come out to our next Pack meeting on March 21st and enjoy some ice cream with us while learning about the cool things Cubs Scouts do!

Thursday night we had a slightly unconventional crossover ceremony for our 8 Arrow of Light Scouts. They have done great in their years with Pack 161, but the time came for them to move on and explore new possibilities that will be available for them in Troop 161! Congratulations to our AOL Scouts and their families and good luck on the next leg of your journey!

We had an awesome Pinewood Derby race today!!! The Scouts and their families did a great job working on their cars! We are also very thankful to HGA School and Principal Dowd for allowing us to host this event in the school!

Today our AOL Scouts were invited to joins the Scouts of Troop 161 on a hike. The snow made for one heck of a workout!

An AOL Scout decided to take the stop motion idea and really blow it out of the water!

Scout Sunday has been postponed until next Sunday at the 9:45am mass.

One of our AOL Scouts used ideas from the Engineering elective to create a device to keep an egg safe, if by chance it happened to fall out of a second floor window. While the first fall was a success, we may never know if it survived its second.
