Say what??!! You can now support ministry by eating tacos! Remember our friends Howard and Cheryl Shouse? Through Shares of God's Love they are providing warm winter wear, Scoops for Jesus, community gardens, and prayer meetings in the city of Erie. Would you show you love and support and order a delicious taco kit?! ... www.hcshouse.org

SERMON RECAP "They'll know us by our love" Anyone can love those who love them. That's NO indication that one follows Jesus. And many love the least of these...by collections, donations and general giving. But Christ followers are called to love their.....wait for it....ENEMIES!... CHURCH OF AMERICA, two things must happen. 1. You must identify who you've made your enemy. Please don't kid yourself with a "No one" response. (Ouch, right?! Get ready to eat the humble pie. But won't humility serve us well?!) 2. You must love them in a way that creates a relationship of equality among you. Giving and donating puts you in a position of "lording" over them. That way of loving doesn't humble you or elevate them. Isn't it easier to bake a pie (heat up a Marie Callenders) for your enemy than to call them and say "How was your day?" Isn't it easier to add them to a prayer chain than to ask THEM (your enemy!) for help, input, suggestion or advice?! But THAT levels the relationship. Phew! Uncomfortable yet? Me too. But we aren't called to comfort. We're called to exactly this!

We apologize that there was no Facebook live for service this morning. There was an emergency in Pastor Sam's family. All will be well but prayers are appreciated. Thank you to all who pulled together very last minute to provide a meaningful and powerful service today. NO ONE is unimportant in the body of Christ! We all have a job to do.
