Looks like we have another storm headed our way. Significant event details and developments: 1. A strong storm system will impact eastern PA late Thursday throu...gh Friday morning. 2. Moderate to heavy rain is expected with amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible with locally higher amounts of 3 inches possible. This combined with much warmer air will rapidly melt remaining snowpack, potentially leading to areas of flooding. 3. Isolated showers and storms may be accompanied by 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts up to 45 mph possible which may cause tree damage and power outages. 4. Good Morning Friends, We will be taking a break from reporting the COVID numbers through the Christmas Holiday. The numbers are up and will continue to be up f...or the foreseeable future. We encourage you to continue to practice proper social distancing, wear your mask when you're out and about and limit your contact with people to the best of you ability. Lastly, employee good hygiene practices as recommended by the CDC. With the help of our K9 teams, we want to remind you that we will get through this pandemic. Two vaccines have been approved and are being delivered with more on the way. While we have sadly lost 44 of our Township residents to COVID and have had hundreds more diagnosed with the virus; for the next several days we choose to focus on the positive. We have seen the incredible strength and generosity of our Community as we all came together to help those less fortunate during the Pack the Patrol Car food drive. We have seen the hundreds and hundreds of you who requested support signs and display them proudly on your property. We have seen the thousands of you who have liked and followed our page and have become part of our Community Police Program. So for the next few days, we want to focus our energy on what makes Horsham such and amazing place to live work and visit and that is her people. Special thanks to K9 Gallant yesterday, K9 Banner pictured below and K9 Bandit who will appear tomorrow. If you have requested a sign, please don't be alarme...d if you see a marked police car and uniformed officers at your door. They are only there to deliver your sign and thank you for your support.
