Pregnancy and becoming a new mother can affect your body in unexpected ways. While you may have heard about morning sickness or swollen feet, did you know that pregnancy and nursing can also affect your vision? It is common to experience dry eye, floaters, or even blurriness and double vision. Any changes in your vision will usually resolve on their own. However, if you notice any changes it’s important to alert your doctor as soon as possible, since vision changes can also indicate a more serious condition. We are here to meet your needs through all stages of life. While you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, your doctor may avoid dilating your eyes during exams.
