Another year is ending. Are you STILL putting off writing or revising a properly prepared will?

I've been told that today is "Love Your Lawyer Day." Having just celebrated the 38th anniversary of my admission by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to the bar of the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an attorney, I can say that it has been a pleasure serving citizens of the Lehigh Valley.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS NOTIFICATION: Effective Monday, 8//8/2016, my office will be located at 523 West Linden Street, Allentown, PA 18101-1415. All other contact information will remain the same.

The preparation of a simple Will, with or without a Trust for junior beneficiaries, is a cost-effective step to provide peace of mind. A Will appoints a Personal Representative and establishes an orderly process in the administration of an Estate regardless of its size. Having a Will simplifies life. It should be reviewed every few years.

Memorial Day weekend is here. School summer vacation is not far behind. Although this can be a stressful time for parents to work out custody schedules, it might be best to be proactive to find a resolution by filing a modification petition and getting an early conference for a summer schedule.

Tips for surviving divorce: speak with a qualified family lawyer before the divorce process begins; know your finances and copy documents; deal in facts-- not feelings-- in financial matters; keep an open mind about your house; don't make impulsive decisions; protect yourself; be patient.
