He found that rat in .39 seconds and earned 1st place again and high in class again. He sure is enjoying barn hunt. Makes us all laugh.

KCTC Member Wednesday Wags N Brags: On January 20th I decided to try my paw at earning my DMWYD Novice Stunt Dog title and guess what? I passed with honors! Because I previously earned my Novice titles in Tricks and Conditioning Fitness, I earned my first Triple Crown title. On February 23, I got my AKC Novice Stunt Dog title, too. Mom says she’s super proud of me and best of all, we had lots of fun!!! -Rags (Linda Irwin)

Keystone Canine Training Club 14.04.2021

KCTC Wednesday Wags N' Brags: Greyson, Spree, and I had an amazing day at the C-WAGS scent work trial on February 28th. Greyson made his scent work trial debut that morning, and he did me proud by qualifying on 3 of his 4 runs. It's always so exciting to start a young dog in a new performance sport. Spree also did an awesome job for me. She was 4 for 4 at the trial, and finished her Level 3 Scent Investigator title and earned two legs toward her Ranger 3 title too. It was a l...ong day for her, since we had to be there at the crack of dawn for Greyson's Level 1 runs that morning. She was a trooper and attacked her searches that afternoon with lots of enthusiasm, despite having spent much of the day crated in the car. The non-stop rain that day presented some challenges, but the trial committee handled them all with aplomb! We truly appreciate all of the time and effort that went into putting on the C-WAGS trial. There were lots of smiling faces at CastleGate Shelties at the end of the trial. We are so looking forward to the next scent work trial in October. -Lynn Uram See more

KCTC Member Wags N Brags: WOW! What a great way to celebrate my birthday! Thanks Seneca and Savvy. We trialed in a new venue, CPE scent work today for our very first time at B n D Creekside. They both qualified in containers, and also titled in interior and vehicle search( 6 for 6 qualifying searches). And then I came home to a dairy queen birthday cake, flowers, visits, and gifts. What a happy day. Thanks to our sons and families, husband, friends, and to B n D for making my day so special. - Elaine Kelvington
