Here are some ideas on how to make your play set more fun at night! 1: Install LED light strips in along the roof of your set. You could even line the sides of the slides or climbers. I just did the roof line and now my tiny back yard looks like a disco party at night. Check out Amazon warehouse deals for cheap, repackaged LED light strips. 2: Get a spotlight or flashlight! The kids and I were playing the admittedly poorly named "rats and ship" game last night where the ..."rats" would try to sneak onto the "ship" but had to freeze if the watch on the ship shined the light on them. If the "rats" moved in the light, they had to go back to the start. 3: Dress everyone warm! Especially when there is snow on the ground! 4: Have a fire! Not on the playset, right, but nothing adds ambience like a crackling fire. 5: Help kickstart their imaginations! I usually end up being a sea monster which then transfers to us all being divers and the play set is our submarine. Sometimes all our kids need is a little jumpstart to help them get started and then their imaginations will take over when they are playing by themselves.
