So proud of my parents. They have worked so hard to build an amazing life for my sister and our families. La Borgata was the best place ever. It will be sad to drive by and not stop in for our free meals and to see my parents but so so happy they have finally decided to enjoy retirement and free time. To all our customers, It is a bittersweet moment to announce that La Borgata is under a new owner. Vito and Sara have officially RETIRED! Probably a bit more forced from their family as they would continue to serve you all but it is time they enjoy their new chapter. ... Vito and Sara have been in the pizzeria business for 45 years. This was not just a business/job; this was their passion. The food was homemade and with love. Every pizzeria created a family and long time friendships. The pizzerias have been through two generations. Their daughters worked in the family business for years who made them who they they are today. Their grandchildren dreamt about working at La Borgata but it is time for their Nonno and Abuela, to enjoy their free time. No words can express our gratitude to our family, friends and customers. This has been an amazing ride from Italian Delight in the South Mall to Vito’s Pizza in Zionsville to La Pizzeria on Emmaus Ave to Vito’s Pizza in Coopersburg to Vito’s Italian Delight on Emmaus Ave to here, La Borgata in Center Valley. To end our journey in our hometown where we raised our children is a blessing. This is a retirement that impacts the ENTIRE family! We hope to continue seeing you from time to time in the community or at La Borgata under the new owner, Biagio Pugliese! Vito will be there time to time making pizza! Wishing you all blessings!
