Our staff is working their tails off here! COVID-19 testing is underway. Everyone seeking the test must call our office first at 570-800-5926. Do not just walk in. We will enter your patient information, verify insurance, collect co-pay if by credit card, ask you questions about your symptoms and illness, and schedule a time for you to come in. For your safety and ours, we are limiting face to face contact for patients seeking the COVID-19 test. Since cold, flu, strep, and other respiratory illnesses share common symptoms with COVID-19, we must treat all symptoms as if it was COVID-19 until a test is negative. Please review all CDC guidelines to be up to date with symptoms, quarantine, treatment, and additional instructions during the pandemic.

We are now doing active infection Covid-19 testing. The process is a bit different than our regular walk-in visits. Everyone seeking the test must call our office first at 570-800-5926. Do not just walk in. We will enter your patient information, verify insurance, collect co-pay if by credit card, ask you questions about your symptoms and illness, and schedule a time for you to come in. We'll have you call when you arrive and the staff will usher you in. In an effort ...to protect you as the patient, our other patients, and our staff, we are taking the utmost precautions throughout our office. Only the patient will be allowed in our office unless they are a minor under 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian, require a caregiver to share patient information, or a translator. We do ask that you have patience with us as we take on this delicate process. See more

We are continuing to do Covid19 Antibody visits in coordination with our lab partner. It carries the FDA Emergency Use Authorization. The test requires a blood draw and is very accurate. This is not for ACTIVE INFECTION but for those who had symptoms at least 10 days ago or no symptoms at all. We are not performing the rapid finger stick tests with instant results. Please call 570-800-5926 with any questions about this or any other visits to our office.

We are getting many questions and calls regarding this. COVID 19 Antibody testing does not test for the active COVID 19 Virus. This test is for asymptomatic (no symptoms) patients or those with symptoms at least 10 days old. Our front desk staff will check each patient in for an urgent care visit. The medical staff will perform an exam first then do the blood draw as deemed appropriate based on the exam. Specimen then gets sent to a third party lab for processing. Our ...staff will then call with the results and they can be sent to the patient portal if requested. We can also forward results to your primary care physician upon request. Most insurances are paying completely for testing and treatment with an ACTIVE COVID 19 diagnosis. HOWEVER, the testing we are performing at LSUC is not for active virus. It may determine prior exposure to the virus. Contact your insurance provider to see that we are in-network to perform the visit. Other insurance plans will cover out-of-network visits. Again, you may want to confirm with your insurer. For those uninsured, we are offering our services for $50. The lab will confirm that you are uninsured while handling the specimen at their location. We see patients 5 years old and older. Parents, please be aware this test requires needles and blood and may not be an easy visit for your children. We recommend if you are bringing a child in to come Monday-Friday 9am-4:45pm. Also please hydrate with plenty of non-caffeinated beverages prior to the visit as it plumps the veins for an easier stick.
