Getting ready for a trip to the Lancaster Science Factory? Here are some tips about your next visit and our current health and safety policies that can ensure you have a great time! Check out our new hours. We're now open on Wednesdays 10am - 5pm, but the rest of the days are unchanged. Wednesdays are also when you can pop into our Maker Space for open tinkering activities, free with your admission! Wear your mask. We require and enforce masks that cover the nose and mouth... for all guests over the age of 2. No exceptions. Plastic face shields alone are not acceptable. Thanks for helping to keep everyone safe and the Lancaster Science Factory open for business! Stay together and play together. Children must be supervised in our exhibit hall. We find that kids and grownups enjoy our hands-on exhibits, so we know you won't have a problem playing right along side your little scientists! Stay in the know. Check out what's happening this week at the Lancaster Science Factory! We're open to the public every Wednesday - Sunday! The Maker Space is back open for free tinkering on Wednesdays! No advance tickets required. On Thursday and Friday afternoon young learners in grades K - 3rd will explore the life of a star in Outrageous Outer Space! ... On Thursday, creative minds in grades 3rd - 8th will use common objects to make and test catapults in Junk Drawer Inventor! On Friday, kids will build their own batteries in The Circuit Lab! On Saturday, a few spaces remain in the next session of our 3D Printing Camp - Tinkercad Design! This week, campers will be designing houses! The Lancaster Science Factory is partnering with the Lancaster Conservancy to host activities and workshops during Water Week, June 4th - 11th! On Friday, June 4th, join us at the Science Cafe for rain barrel painting. Admission is FREE from 5pm - 7pm!
