Just in time for Halloween... let's talk about this spooky sensation

The new Liberty + Gucci pairing brings us some retro florals with a slightly grungy twist.

DISCLAIMER: This is not a color change! Color restoration is always tedious work.... and in cases like this, totally worth it! We know we say this all the time, but oxidation and UV damage over time can drastically (and surprisingly) change the color of a handbag! Over the years, we've noticed that darker bags tend to get more colorful with light exposure (like making a black bag look navy, green, or brown) while lighter bags tend to become more washed out or bleached.... You can usually get a better sense of what color the bag was originally manufactured to be by looking for an area of the bag that has been more sheltered from air and sunlight, like the underside of a classic flap, or inside of a pocket. If you look closely at this Cambon, you can see the original pink leather poking out from the corner of the bag! We were thrilled to be able to restore this bag to it’s original vibrant self!
