The new edition of September concerts to the Village Green Concert series will continue Friday, September 18, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. PLEASE NOTE THE EARLIER TIME IT’S GETTING DARK and COOL EARLIER! If it rains we will have to cancel these September shows. We will welcome John Wise and Friends George Arnold - Drums; Dave Skipper - Bass; Lauren Arnold Violin; John Wise - Piano and Vocals; and Tara Arnold - Special Guest Flutist, playing Elton John, Billy Joel and others of t...hat era. Please wear your mask when walking around, separate by 6 feet from other parties, and enjoy the evening. We really can't have children running around, but they are welcome to come and enjoy the music. Don't forget jackets, chairs or blankets, and picnics are welcome. You are welcome to invite friends, but we’re not doing big time advertising as our space only works for about 80 people, 6 feet apart! September 25th will feature and Steve Van Hook and Jim Colbert, singer/songwriters, with stories to tell and songs to sing. On Sunday, September 27 there will be an Acoustic Brew Concert on the Village Green, tickets available for Simple Gifts are available at the Acoustic Brew website.

QUICK ANNOUNCEMENT RE. CHRISTMAS IN LEMONT: To keep us all safe and healthy, the live version of the Christmas market is called off this year, but I am working on putting together a virtual market so you can still support your local artisans and businesses while you shop online. If you are interested in being a vendor, please send an email to penny (at) eifrigpublishing.com. It will require a little bit of technical work for the vendors, so volunteers to help those who are not technically savvy might be needed. And if anyone wants to donate baked goods, just put them on my doorstep (just kidding!) :)
