Isaiah was referring to Jesus when he said this, because he saw the future and spoke of the Messiah’s glory. Many people did believe in him, however, including some of the Jewish leaders. But they wouldn’t admit it for fear that the Pharisees would expel them from the synagogue. For they loved human praise more than the praise of God. John 12:40-43 NLT

When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes. It’s been said that Vision Leaks. That axiom is especially appropriate for 2020. While leaders everywhere were using the 20/20 wordplay for last year, no one anticipated the yearlong disruption of the pandemic. If there is ever a time that we need fresh clarity about life and the mission of the church, now is that time. So this Vision Sunday, we will be refocusing attention on what God has been doing, how He has been speaking and where we sense His guidance for our future a...t Life Christian Fellowship. In both the 9:00 & 11:00 AM Sunday Celebrations, we will reflect and cast vision. Then we will gather for a membership meeting which includes a light lunch following the second service.
