Smokey the Bear here, I just got off the phone with Fire Marshal Latshaw. Who might I add does a fine job at putting out brush fires as you can see in the picture below. But back to business once again in the event anyone wanted to burn any type of fire today including but not limited to; fire pits, burn barrels, or my personal favorite camp fires it’s a bad idea. For the sake of my furry friends, your neighbors, and most importantly yourself & family please refrain from any fire related activities as Montgomery County, PA has an enhanced fire warning today! Remember only you can prevent forest fires!!

Santa is coming to Limerick Township tomorrow! Starting around 9am Santa will be riding atop a fire truck to visit every street in the township. If you hear sirens come outside to wave to him. If you take a picture of him please post it to our Facebook page, also be sure to use #LFDSanta !

Election day is fast approaching and we wanted to make sure everyone knows that if your polling place is at our Linfield Station, it will be ready for the big day. The polls will be set up in our pole barn behind our station that is currently under construction. There will be people assisting with directing you where to park and to where to cast your vote. Please use caution when entering and leaving the property due to the construction going on. Please make sure to get out and vote!!

Girl Scout Troop 71032 stopped by our Limerick Station tonight to do their annual egg drop! This year it was a socially distant egg drop but they were able to do it! 2 out of 9 eggs survived. #LFD51 #Station51 #eggdrop
