That’s a wrap for this new concrete patio and roof covering. The old concrete patio was removed, and redone with an 8 curbed lip to prevent water from entering the patio door. A gable style roof covering was placed over top to shed the rain and provide shade on those hotter days. All material was wrapped with Azek trims. Dave Roche electrical once again provided lighting options and great service.

Rebuilt these exterior steps with additional structure over the previous steps. Also capped and reset the bilco doors.

Updated railings and posts

We don’t usually get into roofing but this project just worked into the schedule. Here’s a perfect example of using the wrong materials and the issues that will happen in years to come. Shingles were applied to this low slope roof (1.5/12pitch) and after 6 years it was leaking and rotten into the home. The roof was stripped, sheeting replaced and rubber roofing applied with proper flashings to shed water.

Client had this garage unit that was in desperate need of some maintenance from years of being a mushroom house. We built temporary supports so we could remove the front block, once the block was done we set the roof structure back onto the block and secured it down. A new garage door was framed out, installed and once done trimmed on the exterior with aluminum capping. A new exterior grade 36 door was set, sealed and trimmed to block. The soffit and facia was an add on project so gutters could be installed to divert water away properly. Some jobs just give you that wow factor and this one sure did with before and after pictures.
