It is well known that the Ringling Brothers, of circus fame, were proud Freemasons. On January 21, 1891, Baraboo Lodge No. 34, of Wisconsin, held a meeting. Dur...ing that event, six of the seven Ringling Brothers took chairs in the Lodge. The topic of discussion that night was about the Lodge constructing a new meeting hall. Special officer aprons were made for the occasion, as shown here. These aprons were once thought lost to time and history, but after an appearance on a popular auction site, and some sleuthing, the aprons have been returned to the Lodge. How cool! See more
