After Thanksgiving is over and the leftovers run out, the next holiday the children begin to look forward to is Christmas! However, children aren’t the only ones looking forward to the holiday season, when large amounts of people scurry to the shopping malls and Towne Center to buy gifts. Thieves also look forward to the Christmas shopping time when they can fit into large crowds in parking lots and look for opportunities for an easy crime.... The Logan Township Police Department reminds you to lock your car doors. Place belongings in the trunk, out of sight so your vehicle is not easily targeted. Have a Happy Holiday!
During the month of November, Officers of the Logan Township Police Department paid to participate in No Shave November while our female Officer was allowed to paint her fingernails. All Officers agreed that the winner would choose where the money would be donated to within our community. At the end of November, 6 judges were picked within our Township to choose a winner ! Congratulations to Officer Nicole Gripp , who was chosen as this years contest winner ! Today Officer Gripp chose to donate to the Central PA Humane Society as well as Family Services. Family Services will choose two families in need within our community to make a donation too. Thank you Officer Gripp for your service to our community and continued effort to help those in need!
