Spring has sprung!! Sat inside and watched birds of all shapes, sizes and colors.

That rain turned to snow up top of the mountain before it ended. Made for a winter wonderland,

1st of the season! And yesterday we were cleaning up leaves??

Not sure they would like the beds, but they are enjoying the breakfast at Ludwig's Trailside B&B this morning.

These guys and gals were way too willing to pose this morning while I tried out my new camera.

Red Headed Woodpecker at the feeder today. I was so excited. This is the first one I've ever seen. They are beautiful birds.

Lots of color at the bird feeder right now. The grosbeaks and orioles just enhance the color of the regulars (cardinals and gold/purple finches).

After another 4+ inches of snow, the groomers have the Rail-Trail back in prime condition again for all you cross-country enthusiasts.

Sorry, a photographer I am not....But I did want to let everyone know that they are grooming the rail-trail for cross-country skiing and West Rim Rd. for snowmobiling. After the 12 inches of snow we had this week, it should be better conditions than we've seen in awhile.

Let the season begin!!! Tomorrow is the opening day of trout season in the Pine Creek Valley. Doesn't look like a great day for the fisherman. Pine Creek is bank full today. Weather looks better tomorrow though for those who are here to do some biking and hiking on the trail. We are looking forward to another great season of meeting new people and seeing lots of familiar faces again .
