For those who enjoy watching the graceful gliders at Mifflin County Airport: Mifflin Soaring Association will host the 2021 Region 2 Contest at Mifflin County Airport, from May 23 through May 29 (Sunday through Saturday), with unofficial practice on Saturday, May 22. Launch times are variable depending on weather conditions, but usually between noon and 2:00pm. Keep watching the clouds. Glider pilots love cumulus clouds - indicates warm air rising.
