The estimated number of US residents aged 65 years and older continues to grow, with a projected increase of 105.2% from 2015 to 2060. An important concern is that many people with glaucoma may be legally eligible to drive based on their visual acuity, but a state’s #visualfield requirements may allow individuals to drive whose ocular conditions make their doing so unsafe.
