I have already had some people message me about feeder pigs and summer roasting hogs for 2021 so...... I am starting my list! If you are interested please call 724-640-6087 (Mellisa) to get on the list. For feeder pigs, I need your name, number, when you want them (month), and the number that you want. If you want roasters let me know name, phone number, about how big you want it, and date of event. We raise Berkshire hogs.

We are working on the building and plan to have retail hours starting in Mid February... please stay tune!! We have some exciting things happening!!

The Million Dollar Questions.... 1. About how much will it cost? Beef is $3.75/lb on the hanging weight. I can only give you a guess on the hanging weight.... Quarter - 150-200 pounds Half - 350-400 pounds Whole 700-800 pounds Hogs are live weight roughly 260 pounds. A half is $330 and a whole is $660 2. What is included? It is cut, wrapped (vacuum sealed unless you request paper), and flash frozen. It is ready for your freezer. There are extra minimal charges from the butcher that is added into your final total if you get chip steak, stew meat, kabob meat, cube steak, link sausages, or any of their specialty items. If you do not order any of that then there are no extra charges. 3. I am gonna pass this time, I found it cheaper. This one always makes me laugh, and is totally fine. Please, please, please make certain you are making sure you are comparing apples to apples. This means make sure you know what all is included in the price at each place. Sometimes they vary meaning you pay one price for the animal and then have to pay the butcher as well. That is why the price varies sometimes. 4. How do I get scheduled? Figure out when you will have freezer space or if you need to get a freezer, make sure it will be there in time. Attached to this post are the cutting sheets. Print them out and fill it out. Deposits are due to hold your meat and they are non refundable. Deposits are as follows: Quarter Beef - $200 Half Beef - $400 Whole Beef - $800 Half Hog - $165 Whole Hog - $330 5. When do I pay? Deposits are due at the time we put you on the schedule. Balance is due at pick up. 6. How do I pay? Deposits can be check, cash, Venmo, or PayPal friends and family (so there are no fees) Balance due at pick up can be cash, Venmo, or PayPal friends and family. We are working on accepting credit cards and farmers checks in the near future. 7. When and where do I pick up? Once the butcher calls me to let me know the meat is ready, I call you and we schedule a pick up time. Pick up will be here at the farm. Address is on the cutting sheets. Please note, it is frozen and boxed up. In the winter/cold months it isn’t as big of a deal, but during the summer months I only have a walk in cooler to keep it cold. I do not have extra freezer space, so please be mindful of that when picking up your meat.
