Registration: email [email protected] or call (717...) 394-6851 Deadline for registration is July 3, 2020; registrants will receive art supplies lists from instructor via email. 2020 has been quite an interesting year, and we think this is the perfect time to create a Time Capsule for you or others to read in the future! There have been many changes in our world and the way we live. We may have new fears, thoughts, emotions, and grand ideas that we never had before. An art journal helps us take a look at those things and help us to think through it all. We will learn new art techniques each day and practice them with daily prompts. This class is all about expression and capturing your feelings in this time and space to look back at 10, 20, or however many years from now. By the way, you do not need to be artsy to do an art journal! This is a good class for all levels...we will explore lots of things, including collage, lettering, and different art materials.

This message serves as an official announcement that we will slowly begin the process of re-instating selected face-to-face programming opportunities for Pennsy...lvania 4-H, including some club meetings. These events and activities must be approved by the State 4-H Office and Penn State Extension Leadership before they will be allowed to proceed. These events and activities are subject to strictly adhering to all the policies and protocols that are established and required by Penn State University. Club leaders will be required to work with their County 4-H Educator to develop a request/plan utilizing a safety plan provided by Penn State University leadership. That request will then be submitted to the State 4-H Office and Penn State Extension Leadership for review and approval. As we are trying to safely transition back to face-to-face programming, we need your understanding and patience because this process takes time. We strongly encourage clubs to continue engaging in virtual meetings and learning experiences. We recognize all too well that this will be difficult, but the health and safety of our youth, our families, our volunteers, and our 4-H staff must continue to be our most important and central guiding concern. We are looking for 4-H teens to help us teach other about pollination, pollinators and how important pollination is to the world around us! No experience necess...ary! To participate, teens would need to complete a virtual training scheduled for the mornings of Tuesday, June 30th through Thursday, July 2nd. Teens will then help teach virtual and in-person(when we are allowed to proceed) to youth across local communities. After completing required tasks teens may ear a free trip to the National Youth Agri-science Summit and/or scholarship to another teen leadership conference.
