Alright people pay attention. This is a bottom bar to roll up service door. It obviously was hit and bent by a forklift. In somebody's Infinite Wisdom thought the best way to repair a bent Bottom bar is to cut it, bended back and splice in a piece of Steel across the top. For god sakes it's only steel not Kryptonite. ( that kryptonite stuff can slow you down)... Come on door mechanics of the world. If for a second you don't think you can bend to little pieces of Steel without cutting it, then maybe you belong at AC Moore in the paper mache Department. Please do not cut a bottom bar. Anybody that spent a half-hour in an auto body shop can figure out how to straighten out a double angle Bottom bar without cutting it. If your mechanic is doing this let him know he's wrong, I can send you a detailed video of my guy straightening a bottom bar. See more
