From local resource: Pathways Center for Grief and Loss The loss of a loved one is challenging for someone at any age, but especially for children and teens. And, now, COVID-19 is making the grieving process even more difficult. Children and teens may be feeling alone, isolated or confused. The Pathways Center for Grief & Loss is here to help your students navigate their grief journeys over the summer. Coping Kids & Teens, a program with the Pathways Center for Grief & Loss, ...supports children, teens and families impacted by serious illness and loss through individual and group grief support services. Over the summer months, the Coping Kids & Teens program will be offered virtually with individual counseling sessions and telephone support for children, teens and families. We will resume in-person counseling sessions when it is the most appropriate. Virtual or phone support and training are also available for school and community professionals who have questions about our services or are looking for resources to share. Services are provided at no cost to grieving individuals and families.
