The new shade canopy at Reid Menzer Memorial Skatepark (official) was unveiled recently, commemorating the life of Dan Glorioso. For years, M&D has contributed ideas and designs to the park, offering expertise as the site grew and changed. It’s a pro bono project the firm is proud and privileged to be a part of. The canopy will provide what skaters who use the park told us they needa resting space out of the sun, and some protection from wind and rain, says M&D's Patrick Ness, who designed the canopy and was a skater in his younger days. It could also be a place where parents can watch.
